SUCCESS!!

Last night, after months of meetings with Greenwood Village Community Development, and the Planning and Zoning Commission, the City Council voted unanimously to approved 4 special uses under a new SUP Special Use Permit for our building located at 6801 S. Emporia Street, Greenwood Village; light assembly, vehicle repair, wholesale business and recreational.      Thank you City Council!!

Back in October we learned that certain permitted uses under mixed commercial had been eliminated, basically wiping out our ability to lease to small owner based industries.    Of the 16 new allowed uses only 7 were viable for the type of tenant that would be interested in our location and of the 12 Special Uses only 5 would work.    The building is located off I-25 and the Arapahoe corridor not making it a strong location for banks and drive-up facilities, hotels, restaurants and bars.  The office/warehouse space is approximately 1500 sq. ft.    The perfect size for start-up business, light vehicle repair, personal trainers, fulfillment centers, specialty printers and light assembly manufacturing.    The type of business that grows by client recommendations.     Not by street traffic.

Through perseverance and  Tony’s excellent presentation skills, the staff at the Community Development department, Planning and Zoning, and the City Council realized that not granting us the blanket Special Use Permit was a determent to not only us, but Greenwood Village.    Based on the number of calls we received from small business owners, Greenwood Village is a desired location and our building meets their needs.

If you are looking for space or know someone who is, check us out.     We are ready to fill our building!
