Just another way to prove our leader, Tony Hemminger is doing his best to get the most current information out there! Bright and early on January 13, 2015, Tony attended the 2015 Economic Forecast Breakfast. Speakers included Dr. Glenn Mueller, Professor at the University of Denver, Tim Swan, Managing Director at CBRE, Inc., Steven Laposa, Senior Advisor for Alvarex and Marsal Real Estate Advisor Services, and Guest Moderator, Bill Lawrence, Senior VP for Transwestern.
So what is the Economic forecast for 2015? Well folks, looks like it’s going to be a great year! We’re all loving the low oil prices lately, and it’s projected that larger gas companies will be absorbing some of the smaller “mom and pop” shops. However, we should see minimal job loss. The top 5 hot markets projected for the highest growth include Arapahoe Square, West Highlands, RiNo, SoBo, and Pena Station Light Rail at 61st. The Millennials will have a big impact on the economy as population numbers are much greater than that of the baby boomers.
If you’re looking to invest, the largest gap from pre-recession highs and current highs is in office buildings. Speaking of office buildings, we just so happen to have one listed that would be perfect for an Investor. Give us a call and we’ll tell you all the details!
