It took 7 amend-extends agreements, 8 months of discussions, more emails that one can count, documents drawn, re-drawn and then drawn again, five hour closing, three day escrow closing, and yesterday, May 17th we finally disbursed monies and received the commission check. Phew. This was a two state four property 1031 exchange and land purchase. If you have ever closed a 1031 exchange, you know how much work can go into the transaction. But this was extreme.
The transaction included land in Colorado and commercial properties in New Mexico. Tony represented the owner of the land.
